Okay, I rarely do this. Okay, okay, I actually do this quite frequently. I just read a blog from another trainer here locally; her blog is out of this world. It was so high-tech I thought I was looking at a NASA website. She had posted her training log for the week which consisted of her downloaded heart rate monitor readouts in graph form. I'll be honest, it was the most overdone, confusing busy blog I have ever viewed. Had this been blog been created for elite athletes it would have been completely understandable, but it was targeted at her everyday clients. Now I'm not against the science of training, and I feel it is important for clients to know their resting, target and max heart rates. But... C'mon. Too much physiology can be daunting and can make the client just starting a fitness regimen a little overwhelmed. That said, I am sorry dear, fellow blogger for bashing your high-tech blog.
So if you are not a professional athlete, I gotts a couple of tips for ya to chew on.
Eat something within 45 minutes of jumping out of bed in the morning, it's the best way to get your metabolism kick started.
Avoid sugar whenever you can, it leads to plummeting insulin levels, increased fatigue and craaaaaaavings.
Never, ever go more than 5 hours without eating a small meal, key word -small- unless your asleep that is. A healthy metabolism needs food y'all!!!
Drink more water! 60 to 80 ounces a day
Get some sleep....Get at least 8 hours of zzzzzzzzz's a night.
Exercise, exercise, exercise! Lift weights, do cardio, outdoor sports, hike bike! Enjoying exercise will ensure a long healthy life....
Badge out....
P.S. Sorry again fellow fitness blogger.
